About Mitsumi
Mitsumi is the recording project of Stefano Vasari, from the vibrant lands of the northern Italy. Combining Funk, Jazz, Pop in a maelstrom of cultural references from 90’s sinister TV series, 70’s documentaries and films. Chewed samples, Techno sensibility and an electronic flavour are the plateau for spaced-out lyrics, powerful yet groovy drumming and electric keyboards jumping here directly from the jazz-rock heyday. Mitsumi originally formed near Venice in 2020 with the aim to give home to a bunch of unfinished songs and cut in half experiments recorded between 2018 and 2020.
