Harry, Dan, Ben and Joe Heavyfocus was founded by former classmates Harry Sampson and Dan Simpson, who teamed up after discovering a shared passion for music. Formed in Birmingham in 2024, the band takes its name from Adrianne Lenker’s song of the same title. Heavyfocus seamlessly blends alternative indie with indie folk, drawing inspiration from The Smiths, Julia Jacklin, and Big Thief.
