Born in Gloucestershire in the west of England, Emily, the face behind call me em, was in love with music from a young age. She grew up listening to 80s and 90s music with her parents, with artists like Kirsty MacColl and Madonna. As a child, she was immersed in the classical music scene as a member of numerous choirs and orchestras.
