About Dr Adaku
DR ADAKU is a PhD holder and Afro-fusion singer/songwriter from London, of Nigerian (Igbo) heritage. She dropped her debut album the vibes are known on 20th November 2021 which also marked the two year anniversary of her passing her PhD viva and becoming DR ADAKU. The album represents different versions of Dr Adaku symbolised through her different vocal styles and genres. ‘the vibes are known’ is a unique blend of afrobeats, R&B/soul, highlife, UK rap and even drill.
