About Zilla
ZILLA was formed by Paulo César and Mark Nagash in the beginning of 2002, precisely in january 20, in a small town called Vale do Amanhecer, Distrito Federal, Brazil. The initial purpose was to play a Hardcore, for this, Bodão was invited to play rhythm guitars & backing vocals. The band's name choice was interesting. We wished a simple and straight name. A kind of spider's web is one of the first meanings for ZILLA. In Aramaic it means SHADOW, and finally for us, it means resistence. Today, the band has a totally different lineup. And follow with the Melodic Death Metal style.
