About Unkle Phunk
Earl "Phunk Dawg/ Unkle Phunk" Williams born and raised in Baton Rouge, La August 3, 1970. At age 8, Phunk stared leaning the trumpet at Southern University Laboratory School. Age 13 he stared DJing at house parties. Then at age 17 he signed a recording contract at an indie record company in Jackson,MS where Phunk was label mates with Bobby Rush, Ricky White, JT Watkins, The Canton Spirituals.
