BNRD MARS, also known as Moonman, is a Kenyan rapper/producer who began his journey into the Nairobi music scene early during his high school years. Focusing on hip-hop and alternative RnB, MARS maintains a reputable record in the Kenyan underground scene while still managing to gain international recognition. He is influenced by the intricately blended sounds of producer Flying Lotus and the gritty old school feel of hip-hop legend MF Doom, which has inspired him to diversify his sound beyond the average expectation.
