About Jenesis
Jeff Remy, also known as Jenesis, is a rap artist, songwriter, recording, and mixing engineer based in Dallas, Texas. Originally from Croix Des Bouquets, Haiti, he spent 12 years there, experiencing the country's beauty before its decline. However, most of Jenesis's formative years were spent in the USA, where he navigated between two cultures - one at home and another at school - by compartmentalizing. He described this as living a double life, spending time with his blood family at home and with his friend group, M.E.A.T.J.A.R.R, which he considered his second family, after school...
