About Sonic Delays
Sonic Delays are an Anglo-Australian rock band formed in Warwickshire, UK, in 2008 by husband-and-wife duo Tim Howells (vocals, guitar) and Aimee Howells (vocals, bass). Originally known as The Plenaries, they rebranded as Sonic Delays in 2009, evolving from jangle pop to a dreamier shoegaze sound. Their debut EP, A Wonderful Thing (2008), earned BBC Radio airplay, a Single of the Week nod from Losing Today, and support slots with Asobi Seksu and It Hugs Back.
