About Partner
Making a fun type of indie rock injected with humor and candor about topics like sexuality, drugs, and pop culture, Partner is a Canadian group fronted by songwriters Josée Caron and Lucy Niles. Their first album, 2017′s In Search of Lost Time, was shortlisted for the Polaris Music Prize. Meeting as students at Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick, Caron and Niles played together in a number of bands during college, including the Mouthbreathers, punk outfit Yellowteeth, and hardcore group Go Get Fucked, prior to forming the ’90s punk-pop-inspired Partner in 2014.
