About Carmelita
ENG Carmelita is a loser-core / power pop band influenced by guitar bands from the current international festival circuit such as Japandroids, Beach Slang, Soccer Mommy and Car Seat Headrest. The band was born out of a folk duo made up of singer songwriter Patrick Kilbride (Lead vocals and rhythm guitar) and Alex Garcia (Lead guitar) back in 2016. As a side project, Patrick started work on a demo tape which added a more garage-rock flavor to the acoustic songs the band had been working on.
