About Valerio Vettori
Valerio is an uilleann pipes, clarinet and tin-whistle player from Italy. The music he plays ranges from traditional folk tunes (mainly Irish) to improvisation and his own compositions. Mainly self-taught, at the age of twenty he started travelling along with his instruments around Europe, South America and Australia, joining other musicians in gigs, sessions and street performances. From his busking background comes the EP “The Market Day”. In 2018 he release his first solo recording “River Tunes”, featuring original compositions and traditional tunes played on the uilleann pipes.
