About Astrud
Astrud shares Mantra Meditation with a contemporary flavor and a host of talented friends. She has been leading Kirtan for over 20 years in the U.S as well as abroad. Kirtan is a devotional practice of calling and responding to the sacred names of the Divine. Astrud had no musical training or experience before discovering chanting and getting her hands on a harmonium. The medicine of each Mantra had a profound effect on her mind, which deepened her practice to Bhakti and invited her to keep letting go of the turbulent thoughts that created a feeling of bondage.
