About The Old De
The Old De, a producer, rapper, and artist, hails from the Kachin community in Myanmar. Born in Sanchaung, Yangon City, his love for music was instilled by his father's Dr. Dre and Eminem playlists. His mother, a former local singer, further enriched his musical upbringing. At 10, he began playing the piano and learned music theory in Church. The Old De's passion for music grew exponentially, and he formed a rock band in grade 7.
