About Jiyu
The Copenhagen based jazz-hybrid collective is produced by guitarplayer Emil Jonathan, a.k.a Low Pressure and former Stereo Deluxe recording artist EMO. He has contributed to the international downbeat scene since his first vinyl ep “Jazzy Dub head-bubber” from back in 2000. Emil Jonathan started Jiyu in 2016, as a free space for writing instrumental music with a spiritual approach, and a heart for jazz.
