Felix E. James, better known by his stage name F.E.J, is an award-winning Liberian recording artist, performer, producer, and composer. F.E.J. was born to Albertha Lewis-James and Joshua Antonio James on May 8, 1988, in Monrovia, Liberia. F.E.J had mastered the bass guitar, piano, and drums by the age of 13. He was also an active member of the choir at his local church. As a result of the Liberian civil war, he, his mother, and his siblings fled their home country for the United States as part of a resettlement program, where they later reunited with his father.
