Casentrino is a solo extreme music project born in Den Helder, North Holland. What started two years ago as a black metal project gradually evolved, moving through slam metal before finding its true form in the brutal and uncompromising world of goregrind and deathgrind. Drawing influence from acts like Mortician, Metrorrhagia, Sulfuric Cautery and Hyperemesis Casentrino combines crushing fast drums, layers of distortion and harsh noise to create a sound that is as suffocating as it is intentional.
