About Pausa
PAUSA (Paul Santiago Cortés) is a Bogotá-born, New York-raised DJ, producer, and musician blending deep house, soulful house, jazz, and organic dance music. Self-taught on piano as a child, he later studied classical music with Juilliard instructor Ruth Schonthal. As a teen, he immersed himself in NYC’s legendary club scene—Limelight, Tunnel, Palladium, and more—learning from the pioneers of house music.
