Rafael Dewayne Ishman (professionally known as “Felly The Voice”) was born in Gary, Indiana. Growing up in a large family, he is the second-to-youngest of seven children. Felly began his musical training at the age of 6 with vocal and percussion lessons. He attended middle school and high school Wirt-Emerson Visual and Performing Arts High Ability Academy, where he majored in vocal training and started studying classical music.
