About Limes
Memphis, Tennessee lo-fi folk musician Shawn Cripps formed [wimpLink artistId="4082987"]the Limes[/wimpLink] in the autumn of 2000 with drummer Nick Ray, bassist [wimpLink artistId="4119445"]Harlan T. Bobo[/wimpLink], and guitarist Jack Yarber. After performing in three festivals put on by Goner Records, the band signed to the label in 2010. [wimpLink albumId="8200578"]Rhinestone River[/wimpLink] was released that August. In 2011, Goner reissued two albums from [wimpLink artistId="4082987"]the Limes[/wimpLink]' back catalog: 2005's Tarantula! and 2006's Blue Blood. ~ Jason Lymangrover
