About Mr. Wiggles
Born Alexander Randolph in Richmond, VA, in 1937, Mr. Wiggles developed his stage presence early, performing with the Ben Cotton Theater Company in Newark, NJ. By the late 1950s, he had embraced the name Mr. Wiggles and was touring the East Coast as both a performer and novelty salesman before transitioning into the music industry. Between 1964 and 1966, he founded Sound of Soul, a label that released records by artists like Little Tommy, Dickie Wonder, and Sebastian Williams.
