About The Sugarettes
The Sugarettes hail from Eindhoven, Netherlands, where founding members Joep van Son and Iskaa (who doubles as lead singer for the Dutch outfit Foam) first combined their mutual love for sugary melodies, raw guitars, and D.I.Y. production. After spending several months fleshing out van Son's homemade demos, the duo added percussionist Marnix van den Broek and set to work on the lo-fi Sugarettecity EP.
