About The Ministry of Wolves
The Ministry of Wolves is an international musical collective that formed in order to soundtrack a theater production of Republik der Wölfe, a retelling of the Brothers Grimm fairy tales through the lens of poet Anne Sexton's Transformations, a collection of poems about them. The work was directed by Claudia Bauer, who commissioned member Paul Wallfisch (ex-Firewater, Botanica), musical director of Theater Dortmund, to form an ensemble to perform live with the actors.
