About Psychotropical Orchestra
The Psychotropical Orchestra (PTO) returns, reawakened and reinvigorated. Born in Montreal’s scorching summer of 2003, founders Mariano Franco, Fernando Pinzon and Jose Dominguez fused Tropical Latin rhythms, Dancehall energy, and psychedelic Rock into a hypnotic, high-voltage sound. Their 2007 debut, Invasion Psychotropical, launched them onto stages across Canada and Mexico, earning a World Album of the Year nomination at the 2008 Quebec Indie Music Gala. Festival crowds at Montreal Jazz Fest and Festival des Rythmes du Monde surrendered to their infectious, trance-inducing performances....
