About Sonus Borealis
The early music ensemble Songs Borealis debuted in Imatra Easter 1999. Since their debut concert they have performed regularly across Finland. Their repertoire spans all the way from medieval until baroque – focusing mainly in the renaissance and early baroque church music of the 16th and 17th centuries. The line-up of Songs Borealis varies between a small three-person instrumental group to thirty person vocal and instrumental band depending on the program.
