MASHOTO LUCKY MOKOBANE AFFECTIONATELY KNOWN AS "MASH.O" WAS BORN IN LEBOWAKGOMO SOUTH AFRICA IN 1992. HE BEGAN EXPERIMENTING WITH SOFTWARE-BASED MUSICAL APPLICATIONS PRODUCING DEMOS THAT STRUGGLED TO PULL THROUGH TO MAJOR RECORD LABELS. IT WAS UP UNTIL HE GOT A CALL FROM HERBAL 3 RECORDS's GURU 'AERO MANYELO' RESPONDING TO A TRACK HE HEARD FROM THE DEMO THAT MASH.O REALIZED HIS PATH. HE THEN LATER ENDORSED HIS `HERBAL' PRESENCE WITH A FOLLOW-UP HIT "THE VILLAGE", WHICH WAS COMPILED IN THE '10 YEAR CELEBRATION OF SOUL CANDI' ALBUM. THE SONG BECAME ONE OF THE BIGGEST...
