About The Woodys
The Woodys are the Colorado-based singer/songwriter duo of Dyann and Michael Woody. The pair met in the 1980s at college, even going out on a lunch date, but went their separate ways, only to reencounter each other a decade later in LA. They became close friends, eventually marrying in 1993. Their debut album, The Woodys, was released by Rounder in 1998, and featured the duo's tight, Everly Brothers-derived harmonies laid over loping Buddy Holly-like rhythms with plenty of Byrdsian jangle tossed into the mix.
