About Soft Lit
While roommates in Brooklyn, Tara Chacon and Tyler McCauley both experienced emotional breakups. They channeled their lovesick energy into music, crafting dark electronic dance-pop as Soft Lit. Their debut single, "Ocean King" b/w "Lately," was released in 2014 and featured Chacon's pleading vocals over electronic blips and droning synths. After signing with New York electro-indie Godmode, they recorded their debut self-titled EP.
