The Mining Co. is the musical project of Ireland born, London based singer-songwriter Michael Gallagher. Michael writes the bulk of his material at home in London, then records at Paco Loco Studio in El Puerto de Santa María, Spain with his friends from the Spanish psyche band Los Jaguares de la Bahía. Michael's The Mining Co. albums have been lauded in print, praised across the blogosphere and supported across the BBC radio network, having had plays from the likes of Gideon Coe and Steve Lamacq.
