About Phauna
Phauna was an indie electronic duo formed by singer-songwriter Sally McKay and her longtime collaborator Mike Young, who built their sound around lush, emotive vocals, house-influenced rhythms, and evocative electronic textures. In 2001, they were signed to Toronto’s Play Records, and in 2003, released their full-length debut Paradise, a vibrant collection of songs centered on love and hope, layered over infectious electronic grooves.
