Alfred L. Borders aka Doc Silky Scratch is an extraordinary musical talent originally from McAllister Oklahoma. His journey began as a singer in his family’s gospel group, The Borders Singers which included several of his sisters. After landing many local gigs the young group eventually landed on the Johnny Otis Show where things really began to move after that. Only the beginning for this gifted young man with the ability to sing, write and play music.
