About Farid Ghannam
Né à Agadir, Farid Ghannam a grandi naturellement dans une ambiance artistique, sa mère est pianiste et son oncle est batteur. Devenu musicien confirmé dans le genre Gnaoui, il affectionne d’abord le Gambri avant de s’intéresser à un autre instrument à cordes : la basse. Il joue avec plusieurs groupes marocains de fusion, notamment «Mayara Band» formé en 2006. Mayara remporte en 2007 le premier prix du concours Génération Mawazine.
