Plucking petals from the corners of neo-psychedelia, and dream pop, as well as drawing on folk and garage inspirations, FAUX FURRS is an ever-evolving organism painting an endless mural of lyrics, melody, and timbre. The Chicago-based group breeds a ripe soundscape that simultaneously grows out of, and yet is a creature separate from and observant of the vast twisting city. These sonic explorers carefully tune their footing and build solid structures with doors for every listener, continuously finding new intriguing dimensions of their world.
