About Bolinas
Bolinas is the bedroom pop-turned heavy project of songwriter Chris Thomas. Originating in Seattle in 2014, Thomas migrated to Los Angeles in 2015 with a collection of demos that would eventually be released as singles throughout 2017&18; ‘Angostura’ finding itself atop the Japanese brand Rim.Ark’s Exhibition playlist and included in BIRP.FM’s best of 2017; ‘Vacation’ featured in Spotify’s Fresh Finds: Six Strings Playlist. In 2020, Thomas returned to his native Kansas City and in isolation, began tracking Bolinas’ 2022 debut LP Heavy Easy Listening, uniquely blurring the lines between ...
