About Dayon
Dayon / Dayonikin is a Canadian artist whose music is as raw, versatile, and multifaceted as his life. Born on April 12, 2005, in Kitchener, Ontario, Dayon’s childhood was marked by trauma. At 12, he survived an attempt on his life by his mother, leading to his placement in foster care. At 15, his father finally won custody of him, but soon they faced eviction, & Dayon found himself couch-surfing in Kitchener. It was during this time he recorded his most personal songs, including "TELL" & "Holborn", inspired by an old relationship. Dayon then moved to Hamilton & stayed with an artist name...
