About ÉDAÍN
The Hungarian band Édaín worked together from 1999 to 2007. They primarily worked on fragments of folk songs in the original language - Gaelic - and paired original folk poems with Celtic dance tunes. Their third album was dedicated to ballads and Gaelic songs quoted in the works of James Joyce. Members of the band: D. Kiss Ildikó (vocals), Ásmány Kata (flutes, tin whistle, backing vocals), Dobó Zoltán (guitar, backing vocals), Gueth János (bodhran, backing vocals)
