About Root Zero
Root Zero are an ethereal metal band from Cardiff, South Wales with the first stable lineup formed in 2020. Initially starting in 2014 as a creative vehicle for Giacomo Fiderio, the band had an ever-shifting lineup composed Aberystwyth University students, coincidentally including 4/6 of its current members. Giacomo and lead singer Sasha Bannister continued to write material until drummer Josh Powell-Gibbs joined, and after some further personnel changes including the addition of guitarist Llyr Williams, the band would begin rehearsing material with the prospects of debuting as a live band....
