About Bill Hetta
Bill Hetta (a modified spelling of the Old English “bilhete”, literally meaning “sword-hate” but more suitably translated as “murderous hate”) are an alternative rock/metal group taking inspiration from indie rock (The Strokes, Interpol) and black metal (Burzum, Deafheaven). The result is a band that delivers a grandiose atmosphere with a driving rhythm and energy whilst incorporating the melancholic lyrical style of the likes of Ian Curtis (Joy Division) and Mark Kozelek (Red House Painters, Sun Kil Moon).
