While one MEZZA was practicing the Queen of the Night's Magic Flute aria in her room at age six after a visit to the opera and recording Mahalia Jackson covers on cassette, the other MEZZA grew up in a musical home surrounded by jazz, soul and flamenco and thereon joined an R‘n‘B choir at age 10. For both, singing meant a natural mode of expression from an early age and has remained so ever since.
