Marcello Carelli, drummer and composer, is one of the most versatile young musicians on the scene today. Originally from Bedford Hills, NY, he is currently getting his Master’s Degree at the University of Southern California’s Thornton School of Music under the mentorship of Peter Erskine. Marcello has played with distinguished groups such as the Russell Ferrante Trio, the John Daversa Small Group, the Brian Lynch Artist Ensemble, the Frost Concert Jazz Band, and the Thornton Jazz Orchestra.
