About Mazeppa
Michal Perez Noy, a Haifa musician and composer, initiated in 2017 a project to compose songs by the German poet Rainer Maria Rilke. She was soon joined by Asaf Juicy Jew Koren (guitar), Elad Bardes (bass) and Amir Nomiros Noy (drums) and what started as the Rilke project became Mazeppa. The band's materials are composed partly of the poet's poems and some of the original songs that Michal composed.
