About Walboom
Walboom (Val-Boom) is the intercontinental musical exploration of Canadian Andrew Shier and Australia Rhys Lintern. The pair met in Calgary, CA as co-workers and what started as friendship eventually grew into a family as roommates. The duo toured together with Ten Minute Detour, lived together, cried together and everything in between, but the good times came to an abrupt end when the Covid restrictions meant Rhys had to return to his hot, red homeland. Creating a dark void of creative longing, the only solution was not more cowbell but something destined to make a splash and rejuvenat...
