About qurly
qurly (Quinton Merada; he /him) is an electronic musician and visual artist born and raised in St. Petersburg, FL (1994). Merada received his BFA in sculpture at the University of Florida in 2018. While his visual artwork is quite serious and focuses on the struggles of the working class, his music style is quite fun and whimsical. The sounds he manipulates often come from his own phone recordings which relate back to his visual art practice involving found objects.
