Born in Shreveport, Louisiana, affectionately known as 'Cedagrove', YARAMI is descended from a rich cultural history. The LaCour family bloodline carries deep roots in the Indigenous American community, hence the traditional name, YA-RAMI, which means 'He Inspires' in the ancient language of the Americas now known as Phoenician.
