About Week Neez
Week Neez was conceived in Wollongong in 2019 after bassist/vocalist John Bowker (Born Lion) put an ad out FB looking for collaborators. The end result was a band consisting of just bass, keys (Dan Billingham) and drums (Nate De Hume). Week Neez established two rules, firstly that they have a shit load of fun making music together and second is that they aren't allowed to use a guitar. Self described as “Chaotic Business Punk” the band takes in influences from bands like Death From Above 1979 and DZ Deathrays through to LCD Soundsystem and Art Vs Science.
