About Jite
Nigerian rapper Jite Umukoro. Born Ayobami Adewumi, he started rapping at the age of 7 with his elder brother Immanuel "I.M.A" Adewumi. They worked together on several singles over the years leading up to Ayobami's first independent project, 2018's 'Anvrchy EP', which he released under the stage name "Jite Umukoro" in honour of his late grandparents, Chiefs Gordon and Victoria Umukoro.
