About Luis Vecchio
Argentinean pianist Luis Vecchio was born in Buenos Aires in 1941. Despite his devotion to jazz, one of his first ventures as a professional musician was as a member of the rock band Black Combo, led by Sandro, soon to become one of the country's biggest stars. Vecchio noved to London in the end of the 60s, where he integrated in the jazz scene, working with Archie Shepp and recording a sought-after album for the famed library music label De Wolfe. Around 1975 Vecchio settled in the island of Gran Canaria (Canary Islands, Spain) following advice from a superior entity from outer space. ...
