About Sonic Selection
Sonic Selection, is a Boston based duo. The group’s sound is characterized as hip-hop and RnB, but their Puerto Rican and Vincentian heritages breathe new color into traditional genres. While the group’s influences include Bob Marley, Chris Brown, J. Cole and John Coltrane, their initial inspiration came from life at home. Lukie's father, working as a DJ, always filled the house with the sounds of salsa.
