About Corey Tyler
Corey Tyler is a musician from Louisville, Kentucky. He was exposed to music at a very early age primarily from his grandparents, Harold and Betty Thom, who formed the bluegrass/country rock group "The Cumberlands" in the late 1960's. He has a wide range of influences spanning from Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan to Metallica, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Roger Clyne and Pearl Jam. Corey moved from Louisville to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2008 and was involved with a few bands (Knight Drive and The Zero Dirt Kings) but he always kept up his solo act.
