About Doter Sweetly
Doter Sweetly spawned on the muddy banks of the Mississippi River during the Great Panic of 1873. After clawing his way up the Chickasaw Bluff, he took his first steps on the ground that would later be home to the Bass Pro Shop Pyramid in Memphis, Tennessee. By the late 2010s, Sweetly was nearly indistinguishable from a normal human, assuming the alias Elijah Poston. In 2016 Sweetly released his debut album Songs for a Recent Lover, followed up two years later by his sophomore album Grandpa Grew Trees.
